We arrive at the restaurant as I spotted Crystal zone out. I got out of the car, and grab the umbrella from the back seat. I can see her playing with her fingers as I walk around to her side. When I open her door, she looked up, and force herself to smile. After I help her out of the car, she stood up and avoided me, she look up at the sky as the raindrops kissed her skin. I place the umbrella over her as she looked at me.
“I am sorry.” Crystal muttered as we walked towards the restaurant sharing an umbrella. I felt at ease with Crystal around me and yet I felt the need to keep my guard up. I reach my arm across her shoulders and pull her into my side. We walk towards the restaurant’s front door. I hold her a bit tighter as the hostess opened the second set of doors for us. "Of course.” Lily replied as she excuse herself.
“How are you feeling?”Amy asked as she let go of Sebastian’s hand.

I wanted to forget this day, wanted to pretend that I was not Crystal. I missed my father. My mother. Amy and Sebastian might not be my parents but at least they were my family.

I was shocked. I didn’t sense that he was lying to me, but I couldn’t believe that they would have done something like that. I needed to leave.
“You promise you would listen to me. That is not all,” Aleksander remarked as he continued: “Mark’s dead wasn’t an accident.”

I felt the sun rays on my face, as I tried to burry my face in the pillow as I realized that I had been screaming due to a nightmare. I jumped as the main door swung open and saw Aleksander standing in the doorway.
“Are you alright.” Aleksander remarked as he seemed to notice my swollen eyes.
I nodded as he approach me, wondering if I had left the door unlock all night. I sit up as he sat on the couch with me; unconsciously I place my hand on his cheek.
“Aleksander?” I asked making sure that if was not a dream. He place his hand over mine giving me one of his dazzling crooked smiles.
“It’s alright,” he soothed, “I’m here. It was only a nightmare.” My crying slowly ceased as I felt safe around him.
“I am sorry.” I muttered as I felt him patting my head.
“You worry me there for a second.” Aleksander remarked as I re
